The Story
For those who were there, I'm sure you will agree it fell short of expectations. For those who were not there, then it is fair to say you missed out on very little, except seeing who couldn't get a date for the night. Sometimes being in an all-boys school bites.
On a personal note, I really think Dockside sux as a place to have a formal. Really, who ordered the drinks? Red wine, white wine, beer, and one lousy jug of weak orange juice or something. How can they expect us to dance (on the postage-stamp-sized dance floor), then drink alcohol when we are thirsty? Have Dockside ever heard of service, as in refilling the jugs? One of the highlights of the night was Eddie A. doing the spewing ten minutes after entering and drinking the fiery stuff, instead of realising that Dockside doesn't give a hoot about whether you make the night. And to ensure we don't disrupt the neighbours once we're boozed, they cage us in and only let 50 out at a time.

The formal is on December1st at 7pm. The address is "The Balcony"
Dockside 201 Sussex ST Sydney. Don't worry the building will be finished in time!!!!
Money is now required for the formal. This is now YOUR RESPONSIBILITY and there will be no extensions. All money must be in by the 1st of November. No Later. This is not a deadline the formal committee set it has been given to us by the Watersedge. Afier this date no money will be taken. Your formal committee advises you to pay sooner rather than later, to avoid disappointment.
No alcohol will be allowed to be brought onto the premises. The Waters Edge may conduct searches.
Due to circumstances beyond control, money cannot be paid through the school. Money has to be paid through the commonwealth bank by each of you. The price is $72 per person or $144 for 2. No more than one date will be allowed per person. To pay, take your money IN FULL to any commonwealth bank and fill in a deposit slip. The Account name is "formal 98" and the account number is xxxx xxxxxxxx. MAKE SURE you get your deposit receipt, with your name on it and bring it to one of the formal committee. If you don't have a receipt you won't have a ticket. For all you Dumbasses we have printed up deposit slips already filled out. You can get them from one of your formal committee.
